The candidate will work on a variety of policy issues, including Medicare/Medicaid coverage and reimbursement, appropriations, drug pricing and other issues impacting the life sciences sector, medical technology, public health, pandemic preparedness, federal funding, health IT, telehealth, and children’s health. Bachelor‘s degree required. Should have 4 years of experience working in Congress, the Executive branch, at a trade association, interest group, or for a corporation in government relations. Must be well-versed in the federal legislative process. Demonstrated policy experience in healthcare and the federal appropriations process is required. Demonstrates strategic focus, self-motivation, and a drive to action needed. Should have the ability to work independently as well as on a team. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form. Must possess good judgment and decision-making skills. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Should have strong interpersonal skills.
