Minneapolis office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a regulatory senior energy development attorney with 5+ years of state and/or federal regulatory-related experience. The candidate will work on state regulatory matters for a wide mix of clients throughout the Midwest and Mountain region and will interact directly with clients with the goal of taking on the responsibility for managing aspects of matters independently, including making appearances and presenting oral arguments before various agencies. Should preferably have experience in general energy and utility matters, including familiarity with Minnesota energy laws, energy transactional matters (including power supply and related agreements), and general energy litigation. Should preferably have legal experience with a state public utility commission and/or work in-house for a city, municipal utility, or rural electric cooperative. Experience in state energy regulatory transactions (outlined above) is required. Must have Membership in the Minnesota Bar.
