Corporate Counsel - Compliance
The candidate will support the mission of the Legal and Compliance departments and Bank Management by providing accurate and timely legal and compliance advice, assistance and direction, performing independent research, preparing compliance-oriented legal memoranda, and reviewing or drafting high quality documentation concerning a wide range of legal and compliance matters. Must have 3 to 5 years of corporate legal experience. Juris Doctorate degree is required. Must be admitted to the Bar of any state. If not admitted in Kansas, must be admitted to the Kansas Bar within one year of employment and maintain good standing in Kansas. Prior experience supporting a company-wide compliance function is highly preferred. Should have excellent legal research and drafting skills, including Westlaw legal research. Should have ability to identify and analyze legal and compliance issues and develop solutions. Must be proficient use of computer programs and databases, including MS Word, Outlook, SharePoint and Internet Explorer, and various Bank databases.
