Description
The Lead Integration Architect conducts Architecture Modelling of the Home Ecosystem. Previous experience as a Software Engineer with deep technical experience with and diagraming of modern architecture practices with cloud, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures. Describes (in laymen terms) key interactions between Home Ecosystems verbally, using diagrams, and in presentations.
Responsibilities
The Lead Integration Architect conducts Architecture Modelling of the Home Ecosystem. Responsible for ownership and delivery of the core integration architecture of services and APIs that serve as an home ecosystem data grid, using an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocols and data formats to ensure that the data and the business processes that intersect in the Home Ecosystem are as efficient and high fidelity as possible. Works to align Home Ecosystem Integration Architecture by designing and architecting key integrations that connect various Home Ecosystem entities, from the Humana Home Ecosystem to various cloud systems using data, event and application enterprise integration patterns, such as Pub/Sub vs Point-to-Point.
Key Activities:
Home Ecosystem Integration Modelling using C4 Modeling Techniques (or similar)
Create and Steward Home Ecosystem Context Diagrams
Create and Steward Home Ecosystem Container Diagrams
Updates and Stewards Tools to Coincide with Home Ecosystem Architecture Envisioning
Creates Views in PowerPoint Presentations to Communicate Architecture to
Create Simple and Approachable Shared Understanding
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain integration flows using an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocols and data formats
Collaborate and reviews integration architecture models with other architects and developers to ensure each integration maintains a consistent level of technical standards as set by the team
Work directly with Business to ensure that the data and the business processes that intersect in the Home Ecosystem are as efficient and high fidelity as possible.
Requirements:
College Degree in Computer Science or related field
Experienced in developing automated data pipelines, data connectivity, data processing and curation of data to meet connectivity and relationships
Skills: Programming / scripting languages: SQL, Java, Python, Terraform, String Template, Azure, Azure DevOps , CI/CD, Messaging: Kafka Integration: StreamSets, Databases: MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Other: Linux, Bash scripting, Maven, MS Office, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Shell Script, Python
Experienced in multiple cloud providers such as MS Azure, AWS and GCP. Work with agile teams to set--up and up and manage VCP, compute, storage, subnets and access control
Strong software development expertise, experience in developing web services, Restful API's on MS Azure or GCP using synchronous and asynchronous patterns
Skilled in testing methodologies and toolkits.
