Energy Finance Associate
The candidate' should have a mix of experience with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission electric regulatory issues and the negotiation and documentation of energy, commodity, and derivative transactions. With respect to energy, commodity, and derivative transactions, must have experience with commercial arrangements such as power purchase agreements and/or standard trading documentation, such as the ISDA Master Agreement, the EEI Master Power Purchase and Sale Agreement, or the NAESB Base Contract for Sale and Purchase of Natural Gas. In addition to having strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills, the candidate should have strong research and analytical skills and be detail oriented. All candidates must be admitted to the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar upon hire.
