Senior Director and Counsel – Marketing
Duties: Serve as a day-to-day strategic business and legal analyst with respect to TelevisaUnivision's marketing efforts across all platforms, including review of marketing and promotional materials, and managing, negotiating and drafting marketing partnership arrangements, representation agreements, event agreements, and licenses. Ensuring compliance and oversight with applicable regulatory entities (e.g., FTC, FCC), distribution platforms (e.g., Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok) and applicable compliance requirements. Manage compliance with laws governing sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions. Work collaboratively with business divisions in crafting and developing advertising partnerships and marketing campaigns, and work with the relevant legal teams in order to ensure compliance with existing agreements. Work closely with the programming team with respect to advertising and marketing efforts that involve TelevisaUnivision talent. Coordinate with TelevisaUnivision's privacy and data handling team to ensure compliance with TelevisaUnivision's policies. Remain current in legal requirements and best practices regarding marketing and advertising law, trademark and copyright developments, and trademark infringement, including active engagement with relevant professionals.
