Janitorial Associate housekeeping

Position Goal:

Performs janitorial duties and general labor tasks in the cleaning and care of offices, warehouse, restrooms, grounds and facility. Responsibilities will include general cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning restrooms. Maintaining supplies for restrooms, floor maintenance, dusting, trash, mopping, and window cleaning, cleaning break room, other cleaning and organizing duties as assigned. Full-time hours are 6am-2:30pm.

Position Requirements:

Essential Duties:

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and warehouse.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms.

Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.

Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.

Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered

Cleaning windowsills and windows.

Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.

Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.

Other routine maintenance duties as assigned

Other Duties:

Must be motivated, hardworking and available to work overtime if needed.

Will be required to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift and repeat cleaning motions utilizing cleaning supplies.

Work cooperatively with other contractors, employees, and various levels of management.

Experience in warehouse cleaning or similar large facility.

Reliable transportation is required.

High School Education or GED.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Lift 25-50 pounds.
