Job Overview: A law firm in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Family Law Attorney to proactively manage family law cases, provide exceptional client service, and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Job Details:

Duties:

• Proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end, including legal research, case strategy, document preparation, and court representation.
• Provide superior customer service to all clients by maintaining open communication, delivering monthly status reports, and conducting weekly case reviews to address concerns and provide updates.
• Make improvement recommendations to practice managers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the family law practice.
• Manage performance metrics using practice quality software to track accomplishments, client satisfaction, and adherence to established benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
• Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt and is currently licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico (NM).
• 3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on family law cases.
• Experience as a 1st chair attorney in family law proceedings.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must have passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt and maintain active licensure to practice law in the state of New Mexico (NM).

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in using legal software and quickly adapting to new technical programs.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of family law, procedures, and regulations.
