Olympia office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 5 years of legal experience. The candidate should preferably have personal injury experience. The candidate will be managing plaintiffs’ personal injury cases, mostly involving auto accidents, and pre-litigation. Duties would be evaluating the merits of cases of clients initially contacting the firm, meeting with clients, talking and corresponding with clients as the case progresses, making strategic decisions about the case, doing any legal research needed (about one case out of ten), supervising staff, making sure staff has gathered all elements of documentary proof needed for the claim, giving periodic updates to insurance adjusters and answering adjusters’ questions, meeting with the solo practitioner to discuss the case periodically, speaking with medical providers and obtaining their expert opinions, writing demand letters, negotiating cases, negotiating with entities that have a subrogation interest in the case, and meeting with the clients for disbursements. Must be licensed in the State of Washington.
