Patent Prosecution Associate (Chemical)
The candidate' will be involved in all facets of patent law including the analysis and preparation of replies to office actions; invention and disclosure meetings/calls with clients; preparation and prosecution of new patent applications; counseling clients on patent related matters; agreements and related transactions; and appeals. Should have 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience to join its Chemical Patent Prosecution Practice Group. A technical background is required in the areas of inorganic or organic chemistry, and a Master’s or Doctorate in the relevant field is required. Industrial experience is a plus. Must possess a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and be licensed to practice in a state bar and before the USPTO.
