Senior Leasing Counsel

The candidate advises and provides legal support to Regency teams, such as leasing, development, and/or operations teams, in connection with a high volume of leasing, leasing-related, and other types of matters including, but not limited to, (1) reviewing, drafting, and negotiating leases and leasing-related documents related to local, regional, and national tenants, (2) analyzing complex issues related to rights and obligations of shopping center tenants and occupants, and (3) assisting with the business risk assessment of a particular course of action. Collaborates directly with Regency team members at all levels within the company including senior leadership. Coordinates with and provides support to paralegals in terms of promoting their professional growth and development and supervising work product and work volume. Assists in improving leasing and leasing-related forms, processes, and procedures. Provides legal training to field office teams and outside counsel.
