The Senior Benefits Analyst ensures that Enterprise-wide benefit plans are properly administered and accurately communicated. This position will support the communication and branding strategy related to all TDS Enterprise benefit plans and programs.
The Senior Benefits Analyst focuses on annual enrollment, plan changes, wellness programs, and other communication campaigns. This includes coordinating and executing the strategy with vendor(s), consultant partners and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Benefits Analyst also develops, documents, and maintains administrative processes/procedures and takes initiative to implement and/or provide recommendations to continuously improve products and services. This position is also responsible for completing other key projects/assignments (e.g. compliance work efforts, participant issues) and managing vendor relationships (e.g. print fulfillment).
The Senior Benefits Analyst develops and executes medium to large-scale projects, mentors/trains co-workers and strives to ensure team members are actively engaged.
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field -OR- 4 year\u2019s equivalent combination of applicable professional work experience
3 years employee benefit administration, human resources or similar function experience including strong working knowledge of benefits administration, communications, and compliance (i.e. ERISA)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a superior attention to detail
Strong working knowledge of trends, issues, and legislation affecting employee benefits
Knowledge of benefit related policies, practices and applicable laws
Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks, set goals and consistently deliver timely and accurate products and services
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Power Point skills
Experience with employee intranet or Wiki pages preferred
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP, HR/Payroll systems, processes and reports preferred
Benefit certification(s) (i.e. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist \u201cCEBS\u201d) a plus
