Accounting Manager
The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Contacting with senior-level Attorneys and the firm’s Chief Financial Officer which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal. Developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Overseeing the Philadelphia, PA office. Establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions. Responsible for calculation of bonuses, monthly financials, and monthly journal entries. Addressing tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end preparation, bank reconciliation and the support of budget and forecast activities. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Should have 3+ years of proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager. NetSuite experience is a plus. CPA license is preferred.
