Tax Partner - Real Estate
The candidate will be involved both in new business opportunities as well as servicing existing long standing clients in a compliance/consulting role. Will also be involved in thought leadership opportunities, technology initiatives, as well as developing and mentoring staff. Perform partner level compliance review and tax return signoff. Handle client consultations on planning opportunities and changes in tax law. Work on proposals and assist in developing new business. Meet prospective clients and develop relationships with new and existing clients. Expand services to existing clients. Supervise engagements and special projects undertaken by the firm. Oversee all aspects of the client engagement. Supervise, train and evaluate advanced level staff. Coach, mentor and assist staff so as to develop and assist in the growth of the tax function. Maintain knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends that affect the client.
