Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mechanical technologies associate attorney with 2-5 years of patent prosecution experience. The candidate will work closely with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process. Will review technical disclosures and participate in client interviews to determine the patentability of inventions. Prepares, files, and prosecutes patent applications. Prepares responses to communications from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Offices. Review patents as part of the IP due diligence for potential acquisitions or mergers. Must have an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study. Must be Admitted to or eligible for admission in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C. Admitted to the USPTO is required.
