Energy Associate - Mid to Senior-Level
The candidate will work on electric regulatory matters for a national mix of clients that are working on the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables. Will develop a future-oriented practice focused on how to address and mitigate the impacts of climate change. Interact directly with senior partners and firm clients, with the goal of taking on the responsibility to manage aspects of even complex cases independently. Also, be given the training and resources to begin developing their own clients. Should have 2 years of FERC-related experience, including experience on electric regulatory matters. Experience with transmission line interconnection, FERC regulation and enforcement matters, and PJM market issues is a plus. Must have a J.D. and local Bar membership. Prior law firm experience or employment at FERC would be very beneficial.
