Director, Ethics and Compliance
The candidate will lead the Global Compliance Center of Excellence team to develop and document key processes, implement technology solutions, and promote best compliance practices to improve the underlying structures of the compliance program. Implement a compliance risk assessment framework and methodology to be adopted by compliance business partners globally to pro-actively detect and track compliance risks. Develop a compliance data strategy that identifies data sets, technology, processes, and people needed to support a global data driven compliance program. Design, validate and implement a repository of standard or custom reports and dashboards that facilitate the development, monitoring and evaluation of our programs. Create content including reports/dashboards for compliance committee meetings, board meetings, and other internal or external reporting as needed. Collaborate with the Ethics and Compliance Department staff, and other departments, including Legal, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and others, to respond to alleged compliance issues or regulatory violations, and ensure remediation plans are implemented where warranted. Provide guidance to the company’s subsidiaries as a subject matter expert on various laws and regulations and company ethical standards, including but not limited to Federal and State Anti-Kick Back Statutes, False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Federal and State Transparency Laws, and Business Conduct. Proactively research and stay informed on new regulations, laws, and policies that govern our industry and companies, and works to develops others into becoming subject matter experts in our respective areas of responsibility. Create and provide relevant compliance training to corporate functions and operational teams. Develop and implement a team culture that encourages accountability, collaboration, and flexibility. BA/BS in applicable field preferred. Prefer an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD, or MHA). Should have 6-10 years of experience in relevant healthcare compliance positions. Ability to synthesize regulations for applicability to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and provide regulatory guidance to senior management. Knowledge of healthcare, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption regulatory requirements. Strong writing and strategic, analytical, and logical thinking skills. Provides leadership to managers and experienced professional staff. Function as role model regarding compliance standards, professionalism, interpersonal communication skills, and attitude. Proven ability to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve goals, including the ability to multi-task and set priorities appropriately. Willingness and desire to participate in unexpected projects and support team in attainment of organization-wide goals and objectives. Outstanding interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively and engender trust and confidence with personnel at many different levels throughout the company. Enthusiasm and "self-starter" qualities enabling him or her to manage responsibilities with an appropriate sense of urgency; the ability to function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Able to travel.
