Humana Pharmacy Inc. seeks Application Consultant (Senior Software Engineer) in Tempe, AZ.

Duties: Standardizes quality assurance procedures for software. Oversees testing and debugging, and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and recommendations to resolve complex software-related issues. Builds a foundation of expertise and knowledge to begin to influence departments strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. Determines objectives and approaches to assignments.

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 3 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-bachelor's related experience. Requires 3 years of experience in each of the following: C#, WPF, ASP.net, .Net framework using Visual Studio; Object-oriented design and development; Web services protocols, such as SOAP and knowledge on IIS; Version control software, such as TFS; SQL server database systems writing SQL queries; and Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Requires travel up to 10% of the time. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
