Humana's Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) organization is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Business Project Management team working from home! As a part of the ESS Business Project Management team, you will implement large scale projects and programs in an agile environment managing interdependencies and potential roadblocks, establishing clear resolution paths and escalating situations as necessary.

Responsibilities

As the Senior Project Manager you will design, communicate and implement an operational plan for completing projects and monitor progress and performance against the project plan. Additionally, you will take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays and identify, develop and gather the resources to complete the project.

Primary Role Functions

Prepare designs and work specifications for specific project

Develop project schedules, budgets and forecasts as well as select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors

Communicate with other operational areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project

Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project

Set priorities, allocate tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

PMP Certification

5 years project management experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project and SharePoint

Strong collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment

Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely

Strong interpersonal skills to influence and spur cultural change, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional environment

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
