Senior Counsel / Deputy General Counsel
The candidate will negotiate, structure, and close a wide variety of commercial contracts, supporting our Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, HR, and Finance organizations in North America, with a particular focus on commercial transactions. Build and strengthen workflows, and processes between the Legal department and other departments; partner with co-workers in a company culture that is open, welcoming, and well-respected in the industry. Direct certain aspects of legal affairs and ensuring that all business policies and activities are managed correctly and in compliance with current laws. Review changes to commercial laws and regulations and advise management about any impact to the Company. Provide guidance and counsel to management on business transactions and initiatives. Ensure that all company communications, contracts, documents and filings undergo a legal review. Engage and coordinate with outside counsel for certain matters. Other related duties, as required and assigned.
