Creative Director

The candidate will work closely with the director of marketing and the chief of marketing and communications, the creative director will establish and maintain brand standards and implement a consistent creative style across all marketing channels. Conceptualize and develop a coherent brand design and strategy. Present concepts and materials to executive-level leadership. Implement the visual brand across all marketing channels. Work closely with the editorial team to produce effective messaging of ads, brochures and invitations. Maintain and update creative standards requirements and templates for firm and vendor use. Oversee the management of graphics projects to ensure excellent quality service (quality control, concepts match client’s request, meet tight deadlines). Hire, direct, coordinate, mentor and evaluate all members of creative team. Work with traffic coordinators to plan and distribute work assignments. Assess group’s technology and software requirements. Manage team budget, including contracts with vendors. “Roll up sleeves” and assist with day-to-day work to support team as needed. Bachelor’s Degree or a degree in field related to art/design is required. Should have 15–20 years experience in a leadership position of a creative team at a law firm, professional services organization, design firm or publishing company, preferably in a field related to law.
