Manager, International Tax

Duties: The candidate will support the U.S. international income tax provision reporting process including managing the utilization of the EY ITS engine to calculate the key international provisions of U.S. tax reform including but not limited to GILTI, FDII, BEAT and collection of foreign tax credit support. Manage the international aspects, both internally and externally, of the U.S. Federal tax return including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118, E&P and foreign tax credit computations, §861 allocations and subpart F review and documentation, Critical independent decision making will be required throughout this process. Work closely with other global Tax Department team members to identify and implement sustainable tax planning and processes to continually improve efficiencies with international tax processes including preparation of executive summary presentations to be made to the Senior Leadership Team. Collaborate with Korean headquarters company and manage various Korean reporting requirements including Korean Controlled Foreign Corporation matters. Support Tax Department team members with IRS audit and appeals process in addition to modeling U.S. tax exposures and international tax implications. Proficient in cross border and U.S. international tax research and analyze U.S. federal income tax issues related to IRS audits and various international tax matters. Provide proactive tax support to global cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Legal, Treasury, IT) and manage a team of outside consultants on various ad hoc project and cash repatriation initiatives. Train, mentor and develop direct report and other members of the Tax department; work with peers to maintain a positive team atmosphere. Develop effective strategic relationships with business personnel and outside advisors to identify international tax exposures and opportunities for tax planning.
