ALLDATA is currently looking for a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Human Resources Generalist. Position Summary: The Human Resource Generalist leads daily HR practices and processes. S\/he supports business needs and ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives designed by HR Director and HR Corporate while promoting AutoZone values and enabling business success through human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and employee relations. Job Duties & Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned: Exceptional knowledge of Federal and CA State labor laws. Solid employee relations experience with excellent ability to resolve complex issues Promotes, retain and recruit top performers at all levels within ALLDATA Assists HR Director in designing executing Performance Management programs to identify talent for succession planning. Conducts complex investigations, makes recommendations, and escalate to HR Director as needed. Ensures all HR initiatives and goals are met in accordance with Corporate objectives and HR Director. Oversee the efficient administration of human resources policies and programs to ensure the personnel needs of all ALLDATA employees are met. Programs include benefits, compensation, workers\u2019 compensation, EEO, FMLA, ADA, LOAs, and unemployment hearings. Coordinate with AutoZone Corporate Headquarters to resolve ALLDATA inquiries and ensure proper application of all compensation and benefits programs. Supports\/conduct training and development of employees as needed, including their proper orientation to ensure they perform jobs in an efficient manner in accordance with company procedures. Manages employee relations, provides interpretation to managers on company\u2019s policies and provides sound HR recommendations. Directs special projects and coordinate company functions and community projects. Works closely with the Human Resources Director, Corporate Human Resources, Corporate Legal and appropriate Business Management in coordinating the investigation of policy violations, and determining the appropriate disciplinary action. Other duties\/tasks\/projects as assigned. \u00a0 Position Requirements: Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resources\/related field is a MUST 5 years of Human Resources Generalist\/Management experience required Demonstrated knowledge\/experience of Federal and CA State employment laws and other government compliance regulations required SHRM Certificate is highly desired Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical skills Outstanding ability to build trust, understand business acumens and be an effective Business Partner to Operations Managers. Experience with HRIS systems and ability to translate data to business concepts Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills with ability to rapidly shift priorities and manage competing demands Profound knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Strong Presentation Skills required Must be Team-oriented and able to multi-task Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures \u00a0 Supervisory Responsibility: The Human Resources Generalist supervises the following positions: Human Resources Assistant Receptionist Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
