Description
The Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Professional will work closely with Trade, Clinical, Finance and Legal to negotiate, execute, and administer pharmaceutical rebate contracts.
Responsibilities
The Senior Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Professional contracts and works closely with external pharmaceutical companies. Acts as a key collaborator with Internal Pharmacy Leaders to assess and track rebate eligibility. Resolves disputes and handles compliance audits related to rebate contract administration. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related area of study
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication, and relationship building skills
Strong analytical, attention to detail, and accuracy skills
Ability to successfully handle and navigate in a changing environment
Ability to influence others to achieve goals and meet deadlines
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacist or Attorney or Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Pharmacy contracting experience
Clinical pharmacy knowledge
2 or more years significant PBM or industry pharmacy experience
