We're looking for a Lead Product Owner to lead agile product teams to help ensure we provide the Humana workforce with technology solutions that enable optimized team collaboration and productivity.
The Lead Product Owner of Collaboration and Productivity Solutions is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an agile/product delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. The Lead Product Owner works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The scope of responsibility will include a subset of collaboration and/or productivity-based technology solutions to include for example - conferencing, workstream and document collaboration, O365, whiteboarding, and live events.
Responsibilities
The Lead Product Owner maximizes value of product(s) created by their agile teams. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the agile/product team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Advises executives and the Group Product Manager to develop functional strategies for the program and portfolio. Identifies opportunities for experimentation to discover/validate value hypotheses, and often owns the execution of the experiment. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Implements, matures, and leverages product health measurement instrumentation to inform discovery and research.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelors' Degree
8 years technology experience
3 years experience product owner experience, including team backlog ownership
3 years experience working in an agile (e.g. SAFe) environment and leading decentralized teams
Working knowledge of collaboration and productivity technology solutions that may include Office/O365, MS Teams, conferencing solutions e.g. Zoom and WebEx
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to drive effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
Ability to make informed decisions in a high-pressure environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving the technology-driven experiences of our Humana workforce
Preferred Qualifications
Agile Product Owner Certification e.g. SAFe® 5 POPM or similar
Skilled at human-centered design and discovery techniques
