AGCO is currently seeking a Material Handling Manager to join our Manufacturing and Quality department in Hesston, KS. The Material Handling Manager will be responsible for the internal material flow management of AGCO's North America Manufacturing Center for hay, harvesting, and planters. The Material Handling Manager will direct local teams in the Materials Business Unit and will also be tasked with utilizing capital, human, and material resources to exercise accountability for departmental material processes and production supervisors.

Responsibilities of the Material Handling Manager:
*Lead initiatives which impact inventory accuracy, inventory levels, process and procedure, improvement, and implementation *Implement and support Cost reductions. *Provide leadership over the talent management, performance development, and evaluation of the Materials Planning Unit *Direct the execution of strategic corporate initiatives as they pertain to materials and inventory levels *Improve supplier on time delivery performance through direct interaction with the supply base *Oversee auditing, metric derivation and inventory levels *Promote employee engagement in continuous improvement activities
Required Qualifications and Education of the Material Handling Manager:
*7+ years of Inventory Management *2+ years of experience managing salaried employees *Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
Preferred Qualifications of the Material Handling Manager:
*Knowledge and experience deploying continuous improvement tools such as KanBan, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing *APICS/CPIM certification *Experience working in a low volume/high mixture manufacturing environment
