Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting, and calculating results accurately. Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust processes. Identify, segregate, and isolate non-conforming product), and reporting results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in the Fresh Meats industry

required or other QA-type experience.

Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written

communication skills.

Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork on a computer, tablet, or paper ; ability

to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce, good problem

identification and problem-solving skills; math and organizational

skills: ability to read and interpret product specifications; must

function well under stress; must have the flexibility to work where and when

needed.

Physical Requirements: The position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or

more).
