Senior International Tax Accountant
The candidate will assist with the corporate income tax returns of the firm's international subsidiaries. Will contribute as part of a team while also leading individual projects with respect to the preparation and filing of International corporate income tax returns, estimated payments and extensions. Research technical tax issues related to international activities. Write technical tax memorandums. Prepare, process, review, and file corporate income tax returns for the firm's international subsidiaries. Calculate, file, and initiate estimated income tax payments for the firm's international subsidiaries. Prepare or review supporting international tax workpapers. Prepare and file informational reporting returns for the firm's international subsidiaries. Process withholding tax returns and payments for the firm's international subsidiaries. Reconcile general ledger tax liability accounts and investigate account differences and issues. Research and answer notices and other correspondence regarding income taxes, payments, general account information from international taxing jurisdictions. Collect information for income tax audits and communicate effectively with auditors from international taxing authorities. Provide input for technology-related changes for process improvements. Monitor continually changing international tax laws and regulations by attending CPE conferences, researching relevant sources and tax news publications. Bachelor's Degree is required. Master’s Degree is preferred. CPA or JD is preferred. Accounting, Tax, or Finance is a plus. Should have 4+ years of experience. GPA (4.0 Scale) is preferred.
