Billing Coordinator
The candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required as this position works with our attorneys, legal practice assistants, and our clients on billing matters throughout each month. Should have the ability to multi-task and handle a variety of work is essential. The ability to adhere to client billing deadlines is a must. Ability to learn multiple third-party electronic billing systems is must. Perform Excel spreadsheet calculations in order to allocate various time and costs to multiple timekeepers and client matters. Should have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Excellent client service is expected from our Billing Coordinators. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Punctuality and satisfactory attendance are imperative. Working knowledge of various types of technology such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Aderant/CMS Open accounting system knowledge is a plus. Accounting Degree Preferred. General accounting experience is a necessary prerequisite with billing experience preferred.
