Senior Legal Training and Development Coordinator
The candidate will provide coordinator-level support for internal and external attorney training and development functions, including organizing firmwide logistics and assisting in content creation. Assist with all logistical requirements for new associate and lateral associate onboarding and orientation training. Provide logistical support for firmwide Fenwick University programming, including Fenwick University First Year, Fenwick University Summer, University Mid-Level, Fenwick University Senior, and Fenwick University New Partner. Develop evaluations and manage follow-up for internal training programs, including coordinating collection of feedback and analyzing it to identify needed improvements. Provide administrative support for CLE programs Ensure the creation of CLE-compliant materials, agendas, sign-in sheets and/or certificates. Update and maintain CLE content, including the LMS library of CLE programs and offerings. Update the firmwide training calendar to include all internal training. Liaise with business development and practice groups to support and coordinate client and other external training offerings. Should have a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a CLE or training role in a law firm or other professional services environment. California, Washington and New York State CLE knowledge preferred. Should have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively across all departments and offices. Strong client-service orientation and focus, with the ability and judgment to resolve issues promptly and with a sense of urgency. The ability to excel in a fast-paced, demanding environment and the flexibility to adapt to changing environments and priorities. Strong team player. Experience with learning management systems (preferably LMS). Proficiency in MS Office applications.
