State and Local Tax Manager - Income Franchise

The candidate will assist with management of clients and their needs. Perform technical review of partnership and corporate state tax returns and work papers with attention to multistate tax issues such as apportionment, state modifications, state credits, nexus, method of filings, and flow-through taxation. Assist with various tax consulting projects including research and writing projects related to tax planning, nexus studies, voluntary disclosure applications, audit defense, and penalty abatement. Analyze taxpayer data and be able to identify opportunities for prospects and clients. Keep up to date on state and local tax law changes. Participate in business development activities as needed. Develop internal relationships within the firm and help grow external branding.
