Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm located in Greenwood Village, CO, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with expertise in family-based and/or employment-based immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to handling complex immigration matters. This role offers the opportunity to manage significant cases, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the firm’s success while working in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee family-based and/or employment-based immigration cases under the supervision of the Partners.
  • Prepare and file family-based visa petitions, applications for adjustment of status, and consular processing of immigrant visas.
  • Handle waivers for inadmissibility grounds, including unlawful presence, criminal, and fraud-based grounds.
  • Draft and file complex naturalization applications.
  • Prepare and file various non-immigrant visa petitions (E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-2B, L-1, O-1, P, Q, R, and TN) and port of entry packages.
  • Prepare and file Temporary Labor Certification (H-2B) applications with the Department of Labor (DOL).
  • Manage PERM Labor Certification (EB-2, EB-3) applications with DOL.
  • Oversee and prepare employment-based permanent residency applications (EB-1, NIW, EB-2, EB-3, and Special Immigrant I-140 petitions).
  • Handle consular processing of immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications with the U.S. State Department.
  • Draft responses to DOL audits and USCIS requests for evidence.
  • Attend client interviews and hearings.
  • Supervise and coordinate with support staff.
  • Maintained client communications and managed case documentation via the firm’s case management system.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience as an immigration attorney.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and case management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • A collaborative and adaptable team player with an eagerness to learn.
  • Sense of humor and a positive attitude towards team dynamics and client interactions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state.

Skills:

  • Immigration law expertise, particularly in family-based and employment-based cases.
  • Strong legal research and writing abilities.
  • Familiarity with various visa petitions and employment-based immigration processes.
  • Ability to manage complex immigration cases from start to finish.
  • Experience using case management software and legal databases.
  • Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
