Patent Coordinator

The candidate will be preparing file openings, preparing Information Disclosure Statements (“IDS”), handling foreign office actions, reviewing cited art, researching pending U.S. matters, preparing reporting letters and coordinating declarations. Checking status of reminders in worksite and reminders for reporting office actions. Maintaining files, assisting with forms, proofing patents, communicating with clients regarding status of U.S. assignment documents and U.S. Declarations, updating case spreadsheets, handling assignment recordation, preparing agreements, paying issue fees, reporting out Notice of Allowances, reporting out payments, divisional letters, and file continuations, preparing granted patent letters to clients and foreign associates, and track prior art. Entering billable time, assisting attorneys with pre-bills, entering expense reimbursements. Bachelor’s degree (BA) is preferred and 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior law firm experience is a plus.
