We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to fill a key role in our high profile Demand360 group. As an Account Director on the Programmatic Team, you will be directly responsible for growing current demand side platform and agency trading desk relationships, managing overall yield and optimizing monetization across various revenue sources, as well as prospecting and onboarding new partners who can help to drive incremental revenue for the business. The right candidate will additionally own many reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis ad hoc projects.
Success in this role requires an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize among multiple tasks while maintaining a keen attn. to detail. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be working across business and product teams internally as well as management of relationships with key DSPs and ATDs. We require a team player who takes pride in their work, executes on projects and deadlines, and proactively finds ways to create efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
Proactively prospect, qualify, grow, and maintain an account list while meeting annual revenue goals
Create advertising sales strategies, proposals, and presentations for core and new accounts
Engage and strategize with agencies and clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales programs
Establish and cultivate strong relationships by conducting face to face sales calls and client entertainment
Proactively communicate account forecasts and sales information to sales management
Business development acumen; the ability to consult with marketers and in effect treat them as programmers who are creating content that will leverage the power of their brand
Competency in strategic thinking and demonstrated success in working with internal and external departments developing successful sales campaigns is a must
Independently analyze monetization strategies to identify opportunities to increase overall inventory yield
Display a strong working knowledge of all different current forms of new media (display, mobile, video)
Develop campaign and optimization strategies including yield and bidding analysis, in close collaboration with indirect monetization partners.
Employ detail oriented project management and entrepreneurial skills to execute in a fast moving environment.
Requirements:
BA/BS – an emphasis in Business or Math a plus.
3 Years of relevant online advertising experience required.
Experience with Doubleclick Bid Manager (DBM), Audience/Data Management Platforms (ex. Adobe, Krux, TURN).
Experience in business development and negotiations a plus.
High level knowledge of ad servers and tags as well as ad exchange environments required.
Ability to problem-solve creatively.
Strong proficiency with Excel required.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong presentation and closing skills based on field experience with major accounts.
Demonstrated ability to craft and tell a compelling story around passion points.
Ability and vision to creatively execute company and team goals.
Entrepreneurial spirit.
Willingness to travel.
