Duties:

• Represent clients in complex litigation cases, particularly in insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Manage case files, including legal research, discovery, depositions, motions, and court appearances.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and advise on legal matters.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all dealings with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in insurance defense and coverage litigation.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Ability to handle a caseload effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Indiana.

Skills:

• Expertise in litigation, particularly in insurance defense and coverage.
• Proficient in legal research and case management software.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
