Security Analyst

The candidate will work closely with developer, policy, and legal stakeholders to review online applications’ security solutions against client security requirements or expectations. Review security solutions offered by companies of interest, to determine their level of viability on behalf of clients. Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of cyber security architecture and functional security to clients. Engage with online application developers and engineers to better understand alternative security solutions to determine alignment with client security requirements. Ensure risks associated with client’s third party developer integrations are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 3-4 years of experience in a cyber security role is required. Experience with and an understanding of the online privacy and cyber security arena is required. Strong computer science skills and experience is required. Fundamental understanding of operating systems including Linux, Windows, and OSX and their security controls is needed. Knowledge of cyber security architecture, APIs, apps, networking, critical infrastructure, penetration testing, network security, and techniques used to expose and fix security flaws is required. Knowledgeable about security standards and frameworks is a plus. Knowledgeable about network fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP stack, network topologies) is preferred. ISC2 CISSP certification, or equivalent experience is preferred.
