Oracle DBA (SAP)
US Citizen required by Government Customer. Local Candidate Preference.
10 years experience as a DBA, with a minimum of 3 years with SAP.
Experience should include the following -
Performance monitoring and tuning
Space management and planning
Planning, scheduling, and implementing database upgrades and patches
Supporting Development/Implementation environment
Supporting Production environment
Implementation and support of industry standard and DOD security and audit compliancy procedures
Oracle on Windows DBA experience and RMAN backup and recovery methods.
Preferred Skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
Must be able to work well within a team environment and must be able to adapt quickly to change.
Security Clearance is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
* Successful criminal background check, conducted by subcontractor agency which will be repeated by Northrup Grumman. Secret Clearance is not an immediate requirement, but candidate must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance if required at a later date.
* Candidate will be required to provide a personal computer (laptop) with the following minimum configuration:
* 2GB memory
* Windows XP preferred but VISTA is acceptable
* MS Office Standard (minimal 2003)
* Anti-virus/personal firewall/anti-spyware Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
