Associate/Senior Associate State & Local Tax (SALT)
Duties: The candidate will participate in the tax planning and compliance process for multi-state corporate income/franchise and pass-through entities. Deliver state and local tax advisory services, including refund reviews, nexus studies, taxability matrices, voluntary disclosures, tax minimization studies for income/franchise and sales and use tax purposes. Research multi-state income/franchise and sales and use tax issues and developments. Regularly be expose to gross receipts taxes, employment taxes, credits and incentives, and property taxes. Train and supervise associates along with reviewing and evaluating their work. Manage multiple clients, budgets, and participate in the billing and collection process. Assist with business development opportunities.
