Litigation Legal Assistant
The candidate will act as a point of support to attorneys through client correspondence, drafting, filing, and necessary file maintenance. Appearance, Answer, Affidavit, Motion, Pleading, Discovery Responses, Notice and any general communication with the courts or opposing counsel. E-file documents, submit fee requests, schedule court hearings and maintain attorney calendars. Serve as a liaison between attorney and client for legal inquiries on assigned files. Ensure case budgets are maintained. Daily review and completion of client site messages. Bachelor’s degree or combination of litigation experience and/or specific Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies may be considered in lieu of Bachelor Degree is required. Should have 1-3 years of litigation experience. Mortgage Foreclosure experience is a plus.
