Responsibilities

As a Humana pharmacist, your practice can take on many roles. We have exciting career opportunities in several areas, including Clinical Services. As a pharmacist on the Clinical Services team, you will practice pharmacy as though you are at a virtual pharmacy counter. Tasks include:

Interact with Humana Pharmacy patients via the telephone.

Provide counseling and advice.

Research patient concerns.

Facilitate positive service and pharmaceutical outcomes.

Starting shift available:

8 hour shift, M-F 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (Mar-Nov), and then (Nov-Mar) it would be 12:30pm-9:00pm.

Every 4th Saturday, Closed Sundays

(There will be opportunities for earlier schedules in the future.)

Required Qualifications:

Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

Licensed as a PHARMACIST in Arizona.

Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs.

Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group.

Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving.

Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient with computers.

Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10 panel drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment.

Additional Information:

8 hour shifts, M-F 11:30am-8pm
