Responsible for speech therapy patient service delivery including evaluation and treatment of routine patients. Responsibilities include evaluating patients with speech, language/cognitive, swallowing or voice disorders, completing appropriate documentation/reports and developing and implementing appropriate treatment goals. Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Represents the department to the medical and general community. Demonstrates competence in the UCSD Health core values.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an educational institution approved by the Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the state of California.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART w/in 6 months of hire date.
Up to four years of experience as a licensed Speech Pathologist.
Must be able to work various hours, holidays, weekends, and locations based on business needs.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
