Las Vegas office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a personal injury - litigation attorney with 3+ years of experience handling personal injury and/or mass tort litigated cases for a high-volume firm. The candidate will be serving in the management of a litigation caseload of at least 200 cases. Will be conducting conferences with clients to explain litigation procedures. Reviewing pre-litigation files, and other related records to assess viability of successful lawsuit. Drafting correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, orders, agreements, and other legal documents. Researching legal issues and topics. Discussing case strategies with other attorneys and staff. Coordinating with paralegal on discovery requests and responses. Defending and taking depositions. Preparing clients for deposition and other court-mandated attendances. Attending court hearings, case conferences, trials, and/or alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Reviewing medical and deposition summaries, as necessary. Negotiating and settling cases in the litigation stage. Auditing of caseload and communicating with paralegal for any issues and concerns. Performing other attorney duties as detailed in the employment agreement. Must be a current Nevada Bar Member in good standing (additional state licenses are a plus). Should be proficient in discovery, trial, and negotiation procedures. Insurance defense experience is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus. Should have proficient computer skills and a basic understanding of certain productivity computer software (i.e., Microsoft 365, Google Workplace, Slack, Filevine, Hubstaff, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
