Part-Time Adjunct Instructor

The candidate will teach in the areas of Torts and Personal Injury Law. Will be responsible for: Conducting in a professional manner all class hours as assigned by the course schedule and academic calendar. Creating correct, professional syllabi that meet Faculty Syllabus Checklist requirements. Preparing and submitting accurate and precise attendance rosters, student grades, book orders, leave reports, and other assigned documents when due. Instructors will utilize University digital resources such as Blackboard and Novasis to administer tests, record attendance, and submit grades. Creating, administering, and accurately assessing substantive assignments and activities that require critical thinking. Meeting classes on time and for the full duration of the published class time. Attendance at college-wide meetings and events. Maintaining alternative educational activities that students may use in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Supporting and following college policies and procedures. Providing accurate academic advising to students whenever needed. Participating in advisor in-service training. Providing accurate academic advising to student whenever needed. Participating in advisor in-service training. Masters Degree is required. Should have experience working as or with Paralegals. Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. JD degree preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.
