Lead Project Manager
The candidate will be responsible for managing 4 to 5 for eDiscovery Project Managers (PM) who coordinate the collection, tracking, processing, hosting, review, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) as well as hard copy material to support Department of Justice (DOJ) investigators and attorneys during the discovery phase of litigation. Adept communicator who understands the importance of concise messaging to client Case Managers (CM), Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), and Office of Litigation Support (OLS) Director. Facilitate project team as well as client meetings, manage agendas, and ensure meeting action items are memorialized and completed. Experience plotting out and implementing workflows from the evidence collection phase all the way through document production. Experience formulating project budgets and developing level-of-effort (LOE) projections. Review, sign, and track invoices to ensure all invoices are correctly and timely finalized and submitted to the client each month. Research and respond to questions on funding and invoicing. Manage 3 to 5 moderately active and moderately sized cases and or staff of 10 or more. The LPM must seamlessly work with PAE managers and technical staff as well as DOJ attorneys and case managers; all having varying levels technical skills. Plays a key role as the lead coordinator and/or contributor on team projects and provides tactical input to them. LPM will delegate assignments to other staff member as required. Expert knowledge of data hosting platforms such as Concordance, iCONECT, and Relativity. In addition, the LPM should possess a strong understanding of Technology Assisted Review (TAR) tools like the Brainspace, Relativity Assisted Review, or Equivio. Finally, the LPM should have a working knowledge of Electronic File Processing (EFP) tools such as IPRO eCapture, LexisNexis LAW, and Venio. Experience using industry standard chain-of-custody (COC) procedures and be familiar with forensic approaches for preserving data integrity. This includes managing COC documentation and coordinating hand-off of evidence between multiple internal and external parties. Adept at absorbing diffuse information, critically analyzing it, preparing summary reports, and presenting the same to internal as well as external stakeholders. A successful eDiscovery LPM will be an experienced proposal writer and presenter.
