Associate Director, Corporate Counsel

The candidate will work across functions and teams as a trusted partner to proactively facilitate the efficient negotiation, execution and tracking of contracts with a focus on client service, professionalism, confidentiality, superior organizational and prioritization skills. Draft, negotiate and close a high volume of contracts for clinical, quality, medical affairs and other internal business partners. Act as a liaison between internal business partners, legal department, external vendors and outside counsel as necessary for contract drafting, negotiations, processes and inquiries. Provide post-execution relationship support by interpreting contract language for internal clients, drafting amendments and working to help avoid/resolve potential issues. Master and seek to continue to improve the internal contracting process, including administering a contracts management system and developing internal training materials related to the contracting process. Actively help implement and manage contract and document management tools and other technology adopted by the legal department. Work with other members of the legal group to continually improve the company's templates and internal contracting process. Perform special assignments or projects as assigned, with the opportunity for growth and collaboration outside of general contracting duties.
