Manager - Corporate / Commercial

The candidate will oversee multiple engagements for clients that range from multinational corporations to early stage starts-ups. Will engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals; present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to present a comprehensive tax strategy to prospective and current clients, etc.). Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and lead change effectively. Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns including federal and state filings as well as provide ASC 740 tax provision support. Lead their teams in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows. Participate in the professional development of associates and senior associates. Receive formal corporate tax training, on the job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources. Should have Bachelor's and/or advanced degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree. Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (i.e. CPA or J.D.) is required. Must have 4 years of relevant work experience with an accounting firm, including 3+ years of corporate tax experience.
