Instructional Designer/Educator - (Flexible Schedule)

The candidate will develop eContent projects in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts. Transform ideas regarding requests for courses into engaging and effective eContent materials. Able to quickly develop short (5 minute or less) engaging video courses. Able to quickly develop short (1 minute or less) engaging video product commercials. Develop written materials, including but not limited to topical Quick Reference Cards as assigned. Publish approved eContent into Docebo - the firms learning management system. Must possess strong language skills and be able to translate complex technology concepts into simple and easy to understand eContent. Possess a creative approach to learning design that engages target audiences in learning. Must have solid technical skills and ability to work through problems. Must have a proven ability to work independently and/or in a dynamic team setting with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders. Run and analyze HEAT reports to determine additional training needs; recommend eContent to be developed accordingly. Remain current on eLearning and mobile learning training trends and ensure development skills are kept up to date. Maintain technical prowess by taking internal and/or external courses and/or e-learning courses. Design and conduct live virtual training sessions for Reed Smith locations as/when necessary. May be required to conduct live in-person training at a Reed Smith location(s) as/when necessary. Other duties as assigned.
