Practice Support Specialist

Profile

Assist with entry of attorneys’ time

Help to manage individual attorney calendars which could include docketing and scheduling meetings and conference calls

Assist with client intake forms

Open and maintain client files

Provide clerical support to attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants including backup overflow assistance

Assist with monthly billing

Requirements

Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including electronic document management systems

Law firm and/or litigation experience, a plus

Experience using attorney timekeeping and document management systems a plus

Familiarity with basic online resources

Possess strong organizational and time management skills

Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker

Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
