SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading the location’s operations team to achieve operational metrics established with the VP of the Division, as well as providing our customers exceptional quality and service in alignment with Tyson Foods core values and strategy.

Responsibilities include:

Achieve established objectives for mix, cost, yields, quality, customer service and environmental health safety.

Develop our team members and have qualified and effective team members in all positions.

Manage assets, facilities, and capital to ensure long term profitability and viability.

Champion and set standards for upholding, growing and stewarding our culture.

Align organization and resources to business unit strategy.

Achieve status as industry leader in live performance

This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience: 10 plus years minimum experience in live and plant operations and technical skills.

Communication Skills: Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills such as checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments.

Travel: 12 plus trips per year.
