The candidate will be responsible for prosecuting all crimes in the Bronx. Under the supervision of the Bureau’s supervisors specific duties will include to the following: Prosecute criminal cases in Bronx County including misdemeanors and felonies from intake through final disposition. Evaluate cases to determine appropriate action. Implement Office policies as directed. Investigate cases. Respond clearly and effectively (oral/written) to complex legal issues. Handle a high-volume of cases efficiently and effectively. Should preferably have Juris Doctorate degree. Must be member in good standing of the NY State Bar. You must provide an original current certificate of good standing. Should have 3 years of experience in criminal prosecution.
